Book Release – Lanka: The Prophecy of the Bloodline by Prakash Mohandas

We regret to announce that the release of Lanka: The Prophecy of the Bloodline by Prakash Mohandas has been annulled. This was not an easy decision, and it comes after much consideration between the author and the publishing team. We deeply value the time, creativity, and vision that have gone into shaping this epic tale, which imagines a bold and captivating continuation of the Ramayana.

Lanka was designed as a three-part fictional saga exploring a world after the fall of Ravana. With compelling characters, a stirring prophecy, and a new great war brewing in the shadows, the story promised to bridge tradition with imagination. The rise of Shurpanakha as the central antagonist, her manipulation of ancient events, and her desperate attempt to secure a legacy through blood and power presented a dark and layered narrative. At the heart of it all stood a prophecy—a thread connecting the fate of two Rakshasa clans and the hope of uniting a fractured Lanka through a rightful heir of the bloodline.

However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the continuation and release of this book will not be moving forward at this time. While this decision may be disappointing to many who were eagerly awaiting the story, we believe that sometimes stories, no matter how promising, must wait until the time is truly right. As publishers, we owe it to our readers to deliver not just powerful storytelling, but also the assurance of commitment and continuity—two factors that unfortunately cannot be guaranteed for this project in its current stage.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who showed interest in the book, engaged with its concept, and supported its journey thus far. Your enthusiasm is what drives creative voices like that of Prakash Mohandas to imagine boldly and write fearlessly. This story may not be coming to life at this moment, but its spirit, themes, and potential still live on, and who knows—perhaps in a different form or at a later time, Lanka may yet return.

For now, we thank you for your patience and understanding. We encourage you to continue supporting the world of literature, mythology, and imagination as new stories unfold and new adventures await. Please stay connected with us for further announcements and future projects.
