Following Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s historic IPL title victory, star cricketer Virat Kohli and actor Anushka Sharma visited the ashram of spiritual leader Premanand Maharaj in Vrindavan to seek his blessings.
RCB successfully defended their IPL crown on Sunday, securing their second championship and sparking celebrations among fans. Amid the festivities, Kohli and Sharma chose to spend time in spiritual reflection, traveling to Vrindavan shortly after the team’s achievement.
Photos and videos circulating on social media showed the couple arriving at Agra airport before heading to the ashram. In one widely shared clip, they are seen walking barefoot toward the premises, greeting devotees with “Radhe Radhe” as onlookers watched their arrival.
A Spiritual Connection That Continues
This visit marks another chapter in the couple’s long-standing association with Premanand Maharaj’s ashram. Earlier this year, around Akshaya Tritiya and before the IPL season began, Virat and Anushka were seen visiting the spiritual leader and participating in a heartfelt interaction.
Although the couple spends much of their time in London, they frequently travel to India and make regular visits to Vrindavan. Their previous meetings with Premanand Maharaj have often attracted public attention online.
During one such visit, a video that gained widespread popularity showed Premanand Maharaj asking the couple, “Are you happy?” Both Virat and Anushka responded with a smile and nodded in affirmation, a moment that resonated with many admirers.
The latest visit reflects the couple’s continued spiritual connection with the Vrindavan-based guru, even as they celebrate another significant milestone in Virat Kohli’s cricketing career.
