Corruption: Suspended Chhattisgarh IPS officer GP Singh

A businessman claimed in a police complaint that GP Singh extorted 20 lakhs from him in 2016 through his associate Ranjeet Saini on the fear of constructing a bogus case. Days after Chhattisgarh Additional Director General of Police GP Singh was charged with extortion and sedition under the Prevention of Corruption Act, the police announced on Wednesday that a case of extortion has been filed against the suspended IPS officer in Durg.
