Sri Satya Sidhartha Panda, son of Dr. Sunil Chandra Panda and Smt. Mamata Panda, hails from Kalahandi district in Odisha. He is an Amazon Best-Selling Author of You Can Crack the Job Interview and a result-driven creative professional with over 16 years of experience in corporate, academic and research fields. Currently pursuing his Doctorate at TMIMT, TMU-Delhi, he has authored several bestsellers, including Human Capital Management and The HR Caselets Handbook. Satya Sidhartha Panda: Management Jungle: Lessons from the Animal Kingdom” offers a unique perspective on management, leadership and teamwork by drawing parallels between animal behaviors and illustrating how their traits can transform management practices & essential management skills. Each chapter highlights a specific animal and providing insights that can be applied in the workplace. This book serves as a practical guide for new entrepreneurs, first time managers seeking to enhance their effectiveness and foster stronger teams through the wisdom of nature.

The Literature Times: What motivates you to become a writer?

Satya Sidhartha Panda: Writing, for me is both a reflection and a responsibility. As an educator, Human Architect and mentor, I have always believed in the power of words to inspire, inform and ignite change. My motivation stems from a deep desire to share stories that matter-stories of students transforming challenges into opportunities, of innovation born in classrooms and of silent efforts that deserve to be heard. Each piece I write is driven by real experiences and the hope that someone, somewhere, might find clarity, courage, or connection in those words. Writing allows me to preserve moments, amplify voices and contribute meaningfully to the world of ideas.

The Literature Times: What are your favourite writing topics? Please tell us a little bit about your literary interests.

Satya Sidhartha Panda: As an author and educator, I am deeply passionate about writing on topics that empower individuals to thrive in today’s dynamic world of work. My favourite areas to explore include employability skills, leadership development, Desing Thinking and global workforce management. I enjoy translating real-world challenges into actionable insights that help students and professionals become future-ready. My literary interests are driven by a desire to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry expectations. I write to inspire individuals to lead with purpose, adapt with agility and contribute meaningfully to an increasingly interconnected global workforce. Through my work, I hope to cultivate a mindset of lifelong learning and  resilience .

The Literature Times: We were hoping you might tell us about some of the authors that have influenced you and who you read!

Satya Sidhartha Panda: When it comes to inspiration, I find great value in the works of renowned leadership authors such as Sadhguru, John C. Maxwell, Simon Sinek and Robin Sharma, whose insights into human behavior and leadership philosophy have deeply influenced my thinking. Their writings fuel my curiosity and push me to think beyond conventional boundaries.

The Literature Times: The title is unique and appealing; how did you come up with them? Please tell us the story behind it.

Satya Sidhartha Panda: I was reminded of Rishi Dattatreya who has twenty-four Gurus including vulture and ant. In the story book ‘Panchatantra’, animals are main characters. Pandit Vishnu Sharma has imparted deep lessons of administration and governance through which I Got an inspiration to bring this insight, I was motivated to explore and present insights on management and leadership through such symbolic representations and linking these to modern management and leadership.

The title Management Jungle was born out of a powerful brainstorming session between me and my co-author, Dr. Bindoo Malviya. As we reflected on the complexities of today’s corporate world, we realized that navigating a management career often feels like making your way through a dense, unpredictable jungle-full of opportunities, challenges, hidden threats and unexpected allies. Each chapter of the book draws a parallel between management traits and animal characteristics- from the vision of an eagle to the adaptability of a chameleon. This metaphorical approach not only makes the concepts more relatable but also emphasizes that survival and success in the corporate jungle require a blend of instincts, skills and strategic thinking. The title felt instantly right-unique, symbolic and deeply relevant to both aspiring managers and seasoned professionals. It captures the essence of what leadership and management are all about: thriving amidst complexity with clarity and courage.

The Literature Times: What are your achievements so far? Tell us something about your writing career.

Satya Sidhartha Panda: My writing journey has been a fulfilling extension of my passion for education, leadership and career development. Over the years, I have been fortunate to translate my on-ground experiences into words that resonate with students, professionals and educators alike.

One of the highlights of my journey was becoming the Amazon Bestselling Author of the book “YOU CAN CRACK THE JOB INTERVIEW”, a practical guide designed to help young aspirants step into the corporate world with confidence and clarity. The overwhelming response to the book reaffirmed my belief in the power of purposeful writing. In 2023, I was honored to receive the Golden Book Award, a recognition that holds a special place in my heart. In addition to this, I have also received several prestigious national and international awards for my contributions to academics and impactful writing. Co-authoring Management Jungle with Dr. Bindoo Malviya has been another milestone. The book uses powerful animal metaphors to simplify complex management concepts and it’s been appreciated for its fresh and creative approach to leadership education. My goal as a writer has always been clear-to create meaningful content that informs, inspires and empowers the next generation of global professionals and leaders.

The Literature Times: What is your current goal in writing a career? How do you see your future in writing?

Satya Sidhartha Panda: My current goal in my writing career is to create content that bridges the gap between academic theory and real-world application, especially in areas like leadership development, employability skills and global workforce dynamics. I aim to write more books and articles that not only educate but also ignite curiosity, self-reflection and action among readers-particularly students, early-career professionals and educators. I also envision contributing to thought leadership in management education by combining storytelling with research-based insights, making complex ideas accessible and relatable.

In the future, I see myself continuing to write impactful books, collaborating with thought leaders across the globe and possibly launching a blog or digital platform dedicated to career growth, leadership learning and workplace transformation. Writing, for me, is not just a passion-it’s a purposeful journey to learn , influence, guide and empower others.

The Literature Times: Do you have any other novels in the works? Please keep us updated on your future endeavours.

Satya Sidhartha Panda: Yes, I do have several exciting projects in the works! After the success of YOU CAN CRACK THE JOB INTERVIEW and Management Jungle, I am currently working on my next book, which focuses on teaching pedagogy in management education. This project aims to explore innovative and practical teaching methods that can make management education more engaging, experiential, and industry-relevant. The book will be a valuable resource for educators, trainers and academic leaders seeking to elevate learning outcomes in business schools. Alongside my writing, I am passionately involved in providing free coaching and interview preparation support to job seekers, particularly from rural parts of India. Helping young minds from underserved backgrounds gain the confidence and skills they need to succeed in interviews is one of the most rewarding aspects of my journey. I look forward to continuing this journey of writing and mentoring, with a strong commitment to uplifting, empowering and educating through every word and initiative.

The Literature Times: How do you view Indian writing in the twenty-first century? What changes do you see in today’s writing style? Do you feel it has been changed by the time?

Satya Sidhartha Panda: Indian writing in the twenty-first century has evolved remarkably. Today’s writing is more bold, diverse and rooted in real experiences. Authors are not afraid to challenge norms, explore new genres and address contemporary issues-from mental health to start-up culture and global identity. The writing style has become more conversational and relatable, reflecting the fast-paced digital age. Yes, time has definitely influenced it-there’s a shift from traditional narratives to storytelling that’s crisp, impactful and accessible to a global audience. Overall, Indian writing today is vibrant, inclusive and constantly evolving, mirroring the dynamic spirit of modern India.

The Literature Times: How simple/difficult was it for you to publish your book? What message do you want to send to aspiring authors?

Satya Sidhartha Panda: As an experienced author, I can say that every book brings its own unique journey. While writing may come from passion, publishing demands patience, persistence and partnership. Management Jungle and YOU CAN CRACK THE JOB INTERVIEW were both shaped not only by content but by the challenges of editing, refining, and presenting the work in its best form.
