Book Release: Chaitrachandra – Poetry Collection by Basavaraja U. Nadagaddi

Literature, in its purest form, is the language of the heart. Poetry, especially, allows a writer to translate emotions into words, capturing the essence of life’s joys, sorrows, dreams, and reflections. In this spirit, poet Basavaraja U. Nadagaddi presents his new work Chaitrachandra, a poetry collection that promises to resonate with readers through its heartfelt verses and profound reflections.

Just as every living being on earth lives with its own emotions, Chaitrachandra acknowledges that human beings, too, live with heightened sensitivity. In his earlier work Jeevanpreeti, Basavaraja had declared his emotional nature, his struggles, and his dreams. With Chaitrachandra, he once again takes readers into the depths of human feeling, affirming that he is not of “stone heart.” Instead, he describes himself as “a bird flying in the moonlight of emotions.”

The poems in this collection arise from an inner dialogue with life itself. They capture the colors of emotions like a rainbow, the fragrance of a bud, the pain of thorns mingled with healing balsam, and the ever-shifting clouds of thought. These poems are more than verses; they are lived experiences, carefully woven with sensitivity and a unique poetic vision.

The Message of Chaitrachandra

In Chaitrachandra, readers will encounter a poet who blends personal reflection with universal appeal. His verses remind us that emotions are the very fabric of human existence and that expressing them through art brings people closer. As he writes, “There is the life of a god, the color of emotions like a rainbow, the fragrance of a bud, and the desire to join life”—his words inspire us to embrace our humanity fully.

With this collection, Basavaraja aspires that his passion for poetry will spread beyond his own heart to touch “everyone, everywhere.”

Chaitrachandra is not just a book of poems—it is an invitation to feel, to reflect, and to find beauty in the shared experiences of life.
