A Collection That Speaks the Language of the Heart
Poetry has always been the purest medium to capture the whispers of the soul—its joys, sorrows, struggles, and realizations. In his debut collection Ehsaas, Prince Gupta (Pranice Gupta) brings together a series of heartfelt Hindi poems that reflect the spectrum of human emotions.
The word Ehsaas itself means “feelings” or “realizations”, and this essence runs like a thread through every page. Each poem is more than words; it is an echo of the heart, a diary entry of the soul, offering readers a chance to pause and connect with their inner world.
About the Book
The book spans across various themes of human life:
- Love and Heartbreak – Poems like First Love, Photo, Dreams delicately paint the beauty of affection and the ache of loss.
- Hope and Struggle – Works such as Struggle, Endless, Need inspire courage to endure and overcome life’s challenges.
- Trust and Betrayal – Verses like Faith, Trust, Hatred question the fragility of human bonds.
- Loneliness and Loss – Poems like Alone, Orphan, Death unravel the silent grief that lingers in the corners of the heart.
What makes Ehsaas unique is its focus on emotions rather than events. Instead of merely describing what happens in life, the poems explore the feelings before and after—making them intimate, relatable, and deeply human.
Written in simple yet striking language, the collection resonates with readers across generations, allowing them to find pieces of their own journeys in its verses.
About the Author
Prince Gupta, also known as Prince Gupta, is a Postgraduate Teacher in Mathematics under Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan. Though he pursued academics and teaching as a profession, writing became his inner calling.
His journey as a poet began around 2019–20, during his studies at Punjab University, when emotions—some to express, some to understand, and some simply to feel—overflowed and transformed into words. It was in this period of self-discovery that Ehsaas was born.
For Gupta, writing is not just a craft but a process of self-discovery and healing. He describes poetry as the space where emotions gain voice and clarity. While incidents fade, feelings remain etched, and through poetry, they find their true form.
His style is marked by clarity, sensitivity, and depth. Instead of narrating incidents, he gives life to the emotions around them, transforming everyday experiences into timeless expressions.
Conclusion
Ehsaas is not merely a poetry collection—it is an emotional journey. It invites readers to explore the landscapes of love, trust, loss, and hope, and in doing so, helps them rediscover themselves.
For anyone who has ever felt deeply—whether in love, in loneliness, in struggle, or in quiet reflection—Ehsaas offers companionship, solace, and understanding.
With this release, Prince Gupta enters the world of literature as a poet who writes not just from his mind, but from his heart, leaving readers with verses that linger long after the last page.
