Saurav Tripathy: To me, Solemn Truth represents the uncomfortable truths we carry but often avoid confronting. These are the truths about our fears, our regrets, our silence, and the dreams we postpone because we believe the time isn’t right.

Saurav Tripathy: The story also incorporates observations of families, social expectations, workplace realities, and especially the emotional challenges faced by new mothers. Rather than being a personal autobiography, the novel is a collection of emotional truths gathered from life and transformed into a fictional journey.

Saurav Tripathy: The biggest challenge was maintaining honesty without becoming preachy. I wanted readers to discover lessons naturally through the protagonist’s experiences instead of feeling that they were being taught.
Another challenge was portraying regret with hope. The story explores missed opportunities and emotional pain, but I wanted readers to finish the book feeling empowered rather than defeated. The supporting characters were created not simply to move the story forward but to act as mirrors, reflecting different truths back to him.
