Book Release: Abhirath – The Great Sarthi by Jatin Bhardwaj

Abhirath – The Great Sarthi is a compassionate and insightful book dedicated to the children whom society often labels as “different,” yet who carry within them immense potential, unique strengths, and a distinct way of experiencing the world. At its core, the book focuses on autistic children—understanding their needs, nurturing their abilities, and guiding them toward a life filled with dignity, independence, and confidence. Rather than viewing autism as a limitation, the book frames it as a different way of thinking, one that requires understanding, patience, and the right support system.

The narrative emphasizes how meaningful changes begin within the child, and how thoughtfully chosen foods, daily habits, cognitive activities, and structured games can significantly enhance their learning and emotional development. It outlines a range of therapies—occupational therapy, speech therapy, behavioral therapy, and more—that play a vital role in helping them connect with peers, qualify for mainstream education, and gradually thrive in environments that once felt overwhelming. With the right interventions introduced at the right age, the path to integration becomes smoother, allowing children to develop essential life skills and adapt more comfortably within their families and society.

The book also speaks deeply to the emotional journey of parents. When parents learn that their child has autism, ADHD, or similar conditions, the shock can be profound—but so is the strength they discover within themselves. They become protectors, advocates, teachers, and constant supporters. Abhirath acknowledges this journey, guiding parents to understand their child’s challenges while also celebrating their progress and individuality. It offers reassurance that early identification of symptoms can open the door to impactful interventions, shaping the child’s ability to communicate, socialize, and learn with greater ease. With practical advice woven through real insights, the book serves as a roadmap for parents striving to build a nurturing environment in which their child can flourish.

Behind this heartfelt work is author Mr. Jatin Bhardwaj, whose life experiences and dedication give the book its authenticity and depth. Born in the Kishan Ganj Railway Colony of Delhi, he grew up steeped in discipline, community service, and leadership through his early association with the Northern Railway Bharat Scouts & Guides. From completing his Cub training to earning the prestigious HWB qualification—the highest honor awarded by the Bharat Scouts & Guides—his formative years were shaped by service, responsibility, and compassion.

In 2017, his journey took a transformative turn when he established a preschool for neurotypical children. A pivotal moment arrived when parents sought admission for their autistic child—after being rejected everywhere else. That plea ignited a purpose in Jatin that would redefine his life. Recognizing the need for inclusive education, he introduced therapy programs in his school and began working closely with autistic children. Through dedication, study, and hands-on involvement, he has helped numerous children progress toward mainstream education and lead fuller, more independent lives.

Abhirath – The Great Sarthi stands as a testament to his mission: to guide, support, and empower children with autism while offering parents the knowledge, hope, and confidence they need to walk alongside their child’s journey with courage and love.
