Book Release: Kuchh Panne Meri Diary Ke by Md Irshad Akhter

The release of Kuchh Panne Meri Diary Ke by Md Irshad Akhter introduces readers to a deeply personal collection of poems and nazms born from the quiet pages of a diary. More than a conventional poetry collection, the book is a heartfelt journey through emotions, memories, relationships, dreams, separation, love, and the many spoken and unspoken experiences that shape human life. Each composition carries an emotion that was once personally lived, felt, and preserved in the author’s diary before finding its way into the form of a published book.

The emotional world of Kuchh Panne Meri Diary Ke is remarkably diverse. It explores the warmth of friendship, the unconditional love and sacrifices of a mother, the helplessness and intensity of love, the pain of separation, the struggles of life, and the experiences of students and young people. The poems emerge naturally from these experiences, allowing readers to connect with emotions that are both deeply personal and universally recognizable. Anyone who has experienced love, loneliness, distance from a loved one, friendship, separation, or moments of silent self-reflection may find an echo of their own story within these pages.

The journey of the book itself is as meaningful as its poetry. Md Irshad Akhter has been passionate about diary writing since his school days, using his diary as a space to preserve thoughts and emotions. Over time, these personal reflections evolved into poems and nazms. His first poem, “Maa” (Mother), emerged from his profound emotional connection with his mother, Nazma Akhtar. The distance from her during his studies and professional life, including his time away while working at TCS, became a powerful source of reflection and expression. What began as private writing gradually developed into a larger literary journey.

The author’s relationship with literature began during childhood through his father, Sajjad Akhtar, who would often recite English poetry, Urdu couplets, and nazms. This early exposure nurtured a lasting love for literature. His intellectual journey has also crossed several languages and disciplines. He studied German at Banaras Hindu University and subsequently pursued diplomas in Arabic Language and Tourism, along with studies in English, Hindi, Urdu literature, and History. His wide-ranging academic interests have contributed to the richness and diversity of his literary expression.

Currently working as a History Lecturer, Md Irshad Akhter is also actively involved in guiding students in their academic and career journeys. His passion for reading, teaching, writing, and public speaking forms an integral part of his personality. His literary journey has been strengthened by the encouragement of friends and loved ones, particularly Shahjahan Khan, Kishan Kumar, and his life partner, Arfa Manauwar, whose appreciation and encouragement inspired him to bring his diary writings together as a book.

Kuchh Panne Meri Diary Ke therefore represents much more than a collection of poems and nazms. It is a record of an emotional journey—from childhood memories and diary entries to love, relationships, separation, longing, and the enduring bond between a son and his mother. With its honest emotions and intimate voice, the book invites readers to turn its pages not merely as an audience, but as fellow travelers who may discover fragments of their own lives within the author’s words. It is, ultimately, a collection where personal memories become universal emotions and where the pages of one person’s diary may quietly tell the story of many hearts.
