Jai Tomar: First of all thanks, a number of people have shown their interest in it. They appreciated its contents.  As it was published only a few days back so it will take some time to make its place. Hearts touching stories are the best part of the book as a number of people tell me.

Neel Preet: Through your book, you have attempted to display the various emotions as well as the events, which occurs in the life of a common person. So, what inspired you to write a book like this?

Jai Tomar: As mentioned in the name of book itself Kuchh Dekhee, Kuchh Sunee!”  based on day to day life of a common man. Events accrued here and there inspired me to bring them the in shape of a book.

Neel Preet: You have given a very interesting title to your book, which is catchy too! So what made you go for this title for your book?

Jai Tomar: Actually it is gift “saugat” to all those people who inspired me to bring these stories in public domain.

Neel Preet: Apart from this genre, from which other genre would you like to contribute towards the field of literature!

Jai Tomar: My work represents different genre of literature which is reflected in various stories of the book itself. Apart from general fiction, there are romance, thriller and suspense as well. Moreover I want to record changes in general life accrued during the last few decades. The 90s have seen some of the steepest generational changes in lifestyle so much so that kids born in recent years will have no idea about technology used just 10-15 years ago. I wish to base most of my stories in this time as background and the genres can vary.

Neel Preet: While reading your book, I found that your chapters had quite a deep teaching in them! So, what was your mindset while working on this book?

Jai Tomar: It was due to my deep feeling or attachment with all the events narrated in form of stories. Life is learnt best via living and my experiences are reflected in the stories narrated here.

Neel Preet: Can you please explain the overall theme of your book to the readers!

Jai Tomar: Most of the stories address themes such as superstition, teaching, class divide etc via mediums such as satire, folk, parable, realist etc.

Neel Preet: Next, I want you to tell us about some of those writers, who inspires you and whom you follow!

Jai Tomar: I read a number of books written by Indian as well as foreign writers. But if you will ask me just one name from Hindi literature I would like to mention Munshi Premchand.

Neel Preet: Is there any message that you would like to convey to your readers? Or any piece of advice, which you would like to give to the readers out there!

Jai Tomar: In my opinion stories are not just for entertainment but beyond that. Actually literature is mirror of a society touching each and every aspect of that.

Neel Preet: Are there any other books being worked by you? Please let us know about your future projects.

Jai Tomar: Three books are ready of publishing right now. One of them is story book while two novels. Right now I am working on a novel. After that my important target is to complete a book based on political system by Dipawali 2023.
