2021: School Reopening Updates

Since the new Coronavirus invaded the country in mid-March last year, all of the schools have been closed. The adoption of online education as a mode of study by schools has resulted in a huge upheaval in the educational industry. The reopening of schools in offline mode, on the other hand, is not required. The states will decide whether or not to reopen the schools on their own.

Schools and educational institutions in the national capital would remain closed, according to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

Meanwhile, states including as Assam and Punjab are preparing to hold their 12th board exams. Here you’ll find the most up-to-date information on the school’s reopening. UP, Gujarat, Goa, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Odisha, and other states have already cancelled their 12th board exams for the year 2021.

Nitish Kumar, the chief minister of Bihar, tweeted on Monday, “Universities, colleges, technical educational institutions, government training institutes, and schools up to class XI and XII shall all open with a minimum of 50% student attendance.
Adult students, teachers, and educational institution staff will be vaccinated under special circumstances.”

As the situation in Bihar improves, the state government has relaxed Covid restrictions. Universities, schools, and institutions will resume with 50% attendance, according to the administration. Schools would resume in the state for Class 11th and 12th students, according to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

Only 50% attendance would be permitted, and schools will be required to adhere to rigorous Covid procedures. He also stated that government and commercial offices can resume full operations. So far, government and commercial offices have been allowed to reopen and operate with half of their employees. Kumar presided over a review meeting at which the decision was made. The number of coronavirus patients and the rate of positive have both decreased significantly, and the overall situation has improved.

However, caution and attention must be exercised when combining the entire Covid management process. The state of emergency in Bihar was imposed over a month ago in response to an increase in COVID 19 cases.
