The Literature Times: What encourages you to become an Author?

Author: Writing a book gives me an opportunity to put my thoughts in a structured manner. Therefore, I started writing books. This is my second book and I will continue to write books in future.

The Literature Times: What are your favorite topics of writing? Please tell us something about your areas of interest in literature.

Author: I have interest in topics such as education ecosystem, soft skills, and spirituality. Thus, my books are focused on these topics.

The Literature Times: We were hoping you could tell us about some of those writers who had inspired you and whom you follow!

Author: Writings of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, Founder Acharya of International Society for Krishna Consciousness and Dr. T.D. Singh inspires me a lot towards science and spirituality,  vedic education system, human values, self-realization, and understanding Krishna as the supreme personality of Godhead. Their writing inspired me to read Bhagavad Gita which resulted in the writing of this book  “6 Essential Life Management Skills from Bhagavad Gita”.

The Literature Times: The titles seem different and catchy; how you decided it? Please let us know the story behind it.

Author: Many people asked me what is there in Bhagavad Gita for students and those who are looking for a good career. Can knowledge of Bhagavad Gita help them in their personal life and professional career? So, this book is an answer to their questions. Bhagavad Gita is the recorded conversation between Arjuna and Lord Krishna which happened approximately 5000 years back in the battlefield of Kururkshetra. Bhagavad Gita has been a great source of timeless wisdom.

Studies show that 85% of Job Success comes from soft skills. Bhagavad Gita can be a great source to learn many soft skills. Skills learned with base from Bhagavad Gita will enable its reader to learn principles of spirituality. The principles of Bhagavad Gita along with these soft skills will be a perfect combinationation for their success in personal and professional life.

This book covers six essential life management skills from Bhagavad Gita with 20+ practice sessions. These skills are:

Author: I have authored two books till now. My first book was on Education Ecosystem and the current book is focused towards students and working professionals to help them in their personal life and professional career.

Author: I am developing a passion towards sharing knowledge of Bhagavad Gita and therefore writing books will continue in future as well.

Author: I plan to write a few more books focused towards deriving knowledge from Bhagavad Gita.

Author: People love to share knowledge. They share their know-how on various social media platforms. Books are also a medium of sharing knowledge. The availability of self-publication via various platforms are providing opportunities to writers to live their dream of becoming an Author.

The Literature Times: How easy/ difficult it was for you to publish your book? What message would you like to give to budding authors?

Author:  Publishing a book has become easier now. There are many YouTube channels to guide you about self-publishing a book. The publishers also have various service packages to take care of the need of new authors. I would suggest getting personalised suggestions from an author regarding all aspects of publication and specially selection of a right publisher which is very crucial.
