An Interview with Nikita Sachdeva

An Interview with Nikita Sachdeva

The Literature Times: Congratulations Nikita Sachdeva on the release of your book. How does it feel to finally share Unseen Until Unstoppable with readers?

Nikita Sachdeva: It feels like exhaling after holding my breath for a very long time.

This book lived quietly inside me before it ever became pages—through seasons of doubt, healing, and becoming. Sharing it now feels less like an achievement and more like an offering. I’m not placing a finished version of myself in the world; I’m allowing readers to witness the journey as it unfolded.

The Literature Times: The book feels deeply personal. How did you decide which parts of your story to share and which to keep sacred?

Nikita Sachdeva: I didn’t approach it as deciding what to reveal and what to hide.

I wrote what felt honest and necessary in the moment—what had shaped me and was asking to be acknowledged. Some experiences came out naturally because they were no longer heavy; they had already taught me what they needed to. Other parts are still mine to sit with privately. This book isn’t about telling everything—it’s about telling what felt true.

The Literature Times: You write as someone still becoming, not fully arrived. Why was that perspective important for this book?

Nikita Sachdeva: Because most of life happens in the in-between.

I didn’t want to write from a place of arrival—it felt dishonest. Healing, faith, self-trust… these are not destinations; they are ongoing conversations. Writing as someone still becoming creates space for readers to sit beside me, not below or behind me. We’re walking together.

The Literature Times: The theme of being unseen runs strongly throughout your work. What does being unseen mean to you today?

Nikita Sachdeva: Today, being unseen no longer feels like invisibility—it feels like preparation.

Earlier, it felt like erasure. Like trying to matter in rooms that didn’t know how to hold me. Now, I see those seasons as places where roots were forming quietly. Being unseen taught me how to witness myself first. And that changed everything.

The Literature Times: After each piece, you include reflective questions. What role do you hope these pauses play in the reader’s journey?

Nikita Sachdeva: The pauses are intentional breaths.
I didn’t want readers to rush through emotions or consume the book passively. The questions invite them inward—to notice what stirred, what resisted, what felt familiar. In those quiet moments, the book becomes less about my words and more about their own truth meeting them gently.

The Literature Times: Who do you imagine reading this book when you were writing it? The strong one, the tired one, or the brave one?

Nikita Sachdeva: All three.
The strong one who is tired of being strong.
The tired one who doesn’t know how to rest without guilt.
And the brave one who keeps showing up quietly, even when no one is watching.
I wrote for the person who feels unseen but refuses to disappear.

The Literature Times: What was the most challenging part of turning silence and inner work into written words?

Nikita Sachdeva: The most challenging part was allowing myself to speak—about everything, whether it felt hard or gentle.

I reached a point where I realized that becoming the woman my inner child needed meant no longer staying quiet about my experiences. Writing this book wasn’t about presenting a perfect life; it was about honoring the full spectrum of it—the messy, the confusing, and the deeply divine. I wanted my story to remind others that life doesn’t have to look perfect to be meaningful, and that we are allowed to rewrite our story as many times as we choose.

The Literature Times: Are you active on social media, and how can readers connect with you online?

Nikita Sachdeva: Yes, I share reflections, writing, and quiet moments of everyday becoming on social media.
Readers can connect with me on Instagram, where I continue conversations around healing, self-trust, creativity, and inner growth.

The Literature Times: What do you hope readers feel after closing the final page of the book?

Nikita Sachdeva: Seen. Softer. Less alone.

I hope they feel validated — to pause, to feel deeply, to trust their becoming. Not inspired to change overnight, but reassured that where they are right now is not a mistake.

The Literature Times: For those who feel unseen right now, what is one truth you hope they carry with them after reading your work?

Nikita Sachdeva: Being unseen does not mean being unworthy.
Some seasons hide us not to diminish us, but to prepare us. What is growing quietly will rise in its own time—and when it does, it will be rooted, not fragile.
