Author Feature Article: Kashvita

Author Feature Article: Kashvita

Author Bio: Kashvita was born in Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh. She holds a Master’s degree (M.A.) in Hindi Literature. Her love for literature and the written word began in childhood, but family responsibilities kept her passion quietly nurtured within for many years.

After marriage, when her children left home to pursue higher education, she finally found the time and space to embrace the writer within. She began expressing her thoughts, emotions, and life experiences through poetry, which gradually evolved into fiction.

My Orgasm is her debut novel. More than just a story, it is a journey into a woman’s mind—her emotions, self-discovery, self-acceptance, and the unspoken truths that society often overlooks. Through her writing, Kashvita explores the depth of relationships and the subtle complexities of human emotions with honesty, sensitivity, and compassion, creating stories that resonate deeply with readers.

The Literature Times: Author, welcome to The Literature Times. Congratulations on the publication of your book! What feedback do you get from your readers? Please share your thoughts on this book.

Author: Thank you so much. Sabse achha feedback mujhe ye mila ki readers ko laga ye sirf ek book nahi, balki unki apni kahani hai. Bahut si women ne kaha ki unhone pehli baar kisi ko un emotions ke baare mein itni honestly likhte dekha. Mere liye yehi sabse bada reward hai.

The Literature Times: What motivates you to become a writer?

Author:Main likhti hoon kyunki kuch baatein hum bol nahi paate, lekin likh dete hain. Writing mere liye sirf passion nahi, ek healing process bhi hai.

The Literature Times: What are your favourite writing topics? Please tell us a little bit about your literary interests.

Author: Mujhe human emotions, women psychology, relationships, self-discovery aur life ke unspoken truths ke baare mein likhna pasand hai.

The Literature Times: We were hoping you might tell us about some of the authors that have influenced you and who you read!

Author: As a writer, I am deeply influenced by Manav Kaul. Wahi baat meri writing ko bhi inspire karti hai.

The Literature Times: The title is unique and appealing; how did you come up with it? Please tell us the story behind it.

Author: Maine is title ko bahut soch-samajh kar chuna. Mujhe pata tha ki ye curiosity create karega. Lekin meri book mein “Orgasm” ka matlab sirf physical pleasure nahi hai. Mere liye ye wo charam sukh hai jo insaan ko tab milta hai jab wo khud ko poori tarah mehsoos karta hai. Ek bachcha apni maa ki god mein bhi us sukoon aur poornata ko mehsoos karta hai. Ek artist apni kala mein, aur ek insaan apne pyaar, apni azaadi ya apni pehchaan mein bhi us ehsaas tak pahunch sakta hai. My Orgasm usi inner fulfilment ki journey hai, aur isi wajah se maine ye title chuna.

The Literature Times: What are your achievements so far? Tell us something about your writing career.

Author:Meri sabse badi achievement meri pehli book My Orgasm ka publish hona hai. Aur usse bhi badi baat ye hai ki readers usse connect kar pa rahe hain. Is book ka pre-launch Sonu Sood ji ke saath hona bhi mere liye ek bahut hi special aur memorable moment raha.

The Literature Times: What is your current goal in writing career? How do you see your future in writing?

Author: Main bas dil se likhna chahti hoon. Mere liye writing kisi destination ka naam nahi, ek journey hai. Main aisi stories likhna chahti hoon jo readers ke dil tak pahunche aur unhe khud se connect karne mein madad kare. I’m just doing my Karma; the fruits should be left to time.

The Literature Times: Do you have any other novels in the works? Please keep us updated on your future endeavours.

Author: Haan, main aur bhi books par kaam kar rahi hoon. Har book ka apna ek alag safar hoga, lekin ek cheez common rahegi—human emotions aur sachchai.

The Literature Times: How do you view Indian writing in the twenty-first century? What changes do you see in today’s writing style? Do you feel it has been changed by the time?

Author: Mujhe lagta hai Indian literature ab kaafi bold aur diverse ho gaya hai. Aaj ke writers un topics par bhi likh rahe hain jin par pehle baat karna mushkil maana jata tha. Ye change mujhe bahut positive lagta hai.

The Literature Times: How simple/difficult was it for you to publish your book? What message do you want to send to aspiring authors?

Author: Book publish karna easy nahi tha. Mujhe bhi struggle karna pada, khaaskar iske title ko lekar, kyunki kai log bina book padhe hi uska matlab samajh baithe. Lekin agar aap apni story par believe karte hain, to har challenge chhota lagne lagta hai. Mera message sirf itna hai—dusron ko impress karne ke liye mat likhiye, apni sachchai likhiye. Readers hamesha honesty se connect karte hain.
