Every sunrise brings with it a promise—a fresh beginning, another opportunity and a reminder that life always offers us a reason to move forward. Sometimes, all we need is the courage to remain in the game and embrace the possibilities that a new day brings.
In Lohi, his debut literary work, young author Yashraj Malvi explores the spirit of hope, renewal and perseverance through a meaningful reflection on life. The word Lohi, derived from Sanskrit, signifies the reddish glow of dawn. It evokes the moment when the first light emerges in the eastern sky, gradually overcoming the darkness of night and announcing the arrival of a new day.
At the heart of the book lies a simple yet powerful message: every new day is another opportunity granted by God, a chance to begin again, learn from our experiences and continue moving towards our aspirations. Through this central idea, Lohi presents life as an ongoing journey in which setbacks need not define us, and challenges need not mark the end of our efforts. Instead, they can become reminders to hold on to hope and keep progressing.
The book’s underlying philosophy finds expression in the encouraging call, “खेल में जमे रहिए!!”—a reminder to stay committed, remain steadfast and continue participating in the game of life, whatever the circumstances may be.
Residing in Amarwara, in Madhya Pradesh’s Chhindwara district, Yashraj Malvi is currently pursuing his undergraduate studies at Banaras Hindu University. His educational journey began at Happy Hours and Gyandeep Shala in his hometown. With an interest in literature and a belief in the importance of a disciplined and balanced life, he begins his literary journey with this first creation.
With Lohi, Yashraj Malvi invites readers to welcome every dawn as a fresh chance to begin again. Discover this inspiring celebration of hope, faith and perseverance—and remember that as long as life continues, there is always a reason to keep going.
