IPL 2021, MI vs DC: Delhi Capitals advanced to second place on the IPL 2021 Points Table with their third win of the season.On Tuesday, the Delhi Capitals beat the Mumbai Indians by six wickets at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium.

After a convincing result, Delhi Capitals, who had lost to Mumbai Indians in the title match last year, came out on top. The Delhi Capitals bowlers, led by leg-spinner Amit Mishra, bowled brilliantly to limit the defending champions to 137 for nine in 20 overs.

Mumbai Indians, who had won their previous two matches at the same venue by defending low totals, fell short this time as Delhi Capitals chased down the total with five balls to spare, thanks to Shikhar Dhawan’s 45-run knock.

Harshal Patel of the Royal Challengers Bangalore is still the proud owner of the Purple Cap, having taken nine wickets so far.

After another impressive result, Delhi Capitals fast bowler Avesh Khan was promoted to second, moving Rahul Chahar to seventh. Both bowlers have eight wickets between them.Trent Boult and Chetan Sakariya round out the top five with six wickets each.
