The Literature Times: What inspired you to write Nation in Chaos: Three Layers of Truth?
Kundan Singh Rajput: This book was born out of deep observation of over 10 years and concern for the direction our nation is heading. I have interacted with thousands of students, parents, and institutions, and I could clearly see how confusion, misinformation, colonial mindsets and superficial narratives dominate society today. I felt an inner calling to present a structured truth — one that doesn’t blame but awakens. The book is my humble attempt to help readers reflect on where we are as a society and how we can move toward clarity, education, innovation, growth and consciousness.
The Literature Times: How did your personal journey influence the themes in this book?
Kundan Singh Rajput: My journey has been filled with struggles, rejections, failures, and yet a constant pursuit of building something meaningful in education. Each phase of my life showed me that chaos is not external alone — it resides within us too. As an entrepreneur working closely with students, and as someone deeply rooted in the Bhagavad Gita, I have always tried to balance practicality with inner wisdom. That personal blend of experience and spirituality naturally shaped the book’s themes.
The Literature Times: Why did you choose the framework of three layers of truth?
Kundan Singh Rajput: Because truth is never one-dimensional. What we see on the surface is only the first layer. Beneath that lies hidden manipulation, and deeper still lies the eternal truth that connects us to our higher purpose. I wanted readers to peel through these layers — from chaos, to clarity, to consciousness. Structuring the book this way allows people to not just read, but journey through the truths themselves.
The Literature Times: How do you see young Indians responding to the chaos you describe?
Kundan Singh Rajput: Young Indians are more aware than ever before, but they are also more distracted. Many are restless, struggling to find their identity amidst social media noise, peer pressure, and uncertainty. Yet, I see immense potential in them. If given proper direction — through education, mentorship, and self-awareness — they can turn chaos into creativity. This generation is capable of leading a transformation if they are guided to look inward and channel their energy constructively.
The Literature Times: In what ways does the Bhagavad Gita continue to shape your perspective?
Kundan Singh Rajput: The Gita is not just a scripture for me; it’s a manual for life. It teaches me detachment in failure, humility in success, and courage in uncertainty. Whenever I face dilemmas in business, relationships, or leadership, the Gita gives me clarity. Its timeless wisdom reminds me that my role is to act with sincerity, without being attached to outcomes. That philosophy runs through my book and my daily life.
The Literature Times: What role do you believe education should play in addressing societal confusion?
Kundan Singh Rajput: Education is the foundation of any society. Unfortunately, much of our system still focuses only on marks and degrees. True education should go beyond this — it should help students build character, resilience, and critical thinking. If we reform education to nurture values, creativity, and mental well-being, we will naturally reduce societal confusion. That’s why I have dedicated my work to building holistic educational ecosystems.
The Literature Times: You emphasize both science and spirituality—how do you reconcile the two?
Kundan Singh Rajput: Science and spirituality are not opposites; they are complementary. Science explains the “how,” while spirituality explains the “why.” When combined, they give us a complete understanding of life. For example, neuroscience explains how meditation changes the brain, while spirituality tells us why stillness is essential for growth. My work, whether in education or writing, has always been to bridge this gap and show that progress and inner peace can coexist.
The Literature Times: Which yogic path do you personally practice the most, and why?
Kundan Singh Rajput: I resonate most with Karma Yoga — the path of selfless action. My life has always been about working for students, society, and building systems without being overly attached to personal gain. It keeps me aligned with my purpose.
The Literature Times: How can readers move from awareness to action after finishing your book?
Kundan Singh Rajput: Awareness is only the beginning. My request to readers is simple — don’t stop at realization. Start small: question the narratives around you, make conscious choices in your personal and professional life, and contribute positively to your community. True change happens when awareness is translated into consistent action, no matter how small it may seem.
The Literature Times: What is the one message you hope every reader carries with them from your work?
Kundan Singh Rajput: That chaos is not the end; it is the beginning of transformation. If we look deeper, every confusion hides clarity, and every struggle carries a lesson. My message is: don’t be afraid of truth, however uncomfortable it may be. Embrace it, act upon it, and you will discover the power to shape not only your own life but also the future of this nation.
