The Literature Times: Welcome to The Literature Times, author. Congratulations on the release of your book. What responses are you getting from your readers? Please share your experience with this book.

Dr. Shreya Jain: Thank you. We have received positive feedback from our readers. Writing this book was a challenge in terms of trying to compress and summarise complex medical information for easy reference to facilitate new medicine residents.

The Literature Times: What encourages you to become an Author?

Dr. Shreya Jain: I always believed that I have a flair for teaching and writing a book allows me to reach a wide audience.

The Literature Times: What are your favorite topics of writing? Please tell us something about your areas of interest in literature.

Dr. Shreya Jain: Medicine is my favourite subject and I take keen interest in management of lifestyle diseases as I believe the biggest weapon towards conquering them is knowledge.

The Literature Times: The titles seem different and catchy; how did you decide? Please let us know the story behind it.

Dr. Shreya Jain: I try to make the titles as self explanatory as possible, so the students don’t have difficulty in picking this book in a library.

The Literature Times: What are your achievements so far? Tell us something about your writing career.

Dr. Shreya Jain: This is the first book I have written and I hope to write many more. I have done MBBS and MD from Safdarjung hospital, New Delhi and am currently pursuing SRship in the same.

The Literature Times: What is your current goal in writing a career? How do you see your future in writing?

Dr. Shreya Jain: Apart from academic journals, this is my first venture into book writing, hopefully more such projects will appear in the future.

The Literature Times: Are there any other books being worked on by you? Please let us know about your future projects.

Dr. Shreya Jain: For budding doctors dr krishan has made writing and publishing easy.I am currently a novice writer and hoping to continue it .

The Literature Times: How do you see Indian writing in the 21st century? What changes do you see in the modern way of writing? Do you feel it has changed by the time?

Dr. Shreya Jain: The medical literature has evolved over time to emphasise on evidence based medicine only which has directly or indirectly contributed towards saving many lives.

The Literature Times: How easy/ difficult it was for you to publish your book? What message would you like to give to budding authors?

Dr. Shreya Jain: Writing this book was a wonderful experience, to anyone out there who wants to write, just go for it!
